Summary

You're a volunteer cook for a solidarity mission. Drag ingredients, plate dishes, and serve them out before the clock runs out. Every meal you get right keeps the mission's morale up. Race against the timer, chase your own high score, and see how many people you can feed in one shift

Our Vision

Solidarity Kitchen puts you behind the counter of a volunteer-run kitchen supporting a mission you'll never see firsthand. The people you're feeding are the ones out in the field doing the work. Your role isn't glamorous: read the order, gather the right ingredients, plate the meal, serve it, and keep the line moving. Every meal delivered on time helps someone stay out there a little longer. Your job is to keep the team going, one plate at a time.

We wanted the game to capture the feeling of being part of something bigger without being at the center of it. There's no dramatic hero moment—just the constant rhythm of doing an ordinary job well, even when the pressure builds. It's a reminder that meaningful work isn't always visible, and that small, consistent contributions can make all the difference. The high-score system reflects that idea too. It's not about beating the game once; it's about asking how much you can contribute during this shift, then coming back to do a little better the next time.

How to Play

The goal: serve as many orders as possible before the round timer runs out. Your score is measured in morale. The better and faster you serve, the more morale the team has.

  1. Check the order tickets. Up to four customers can be waiting at once, each with an icon showing the dish they want and a countdown timer showing how long you have.
  2. Grab a plate. Drag a plate from the plate pile onto the counter's plate space. You need an empty plate there before you can start building a dish.
  3. Build the dish. Click and drag ingredients from their bins onto the plate. Get the right ingredients, in the right amounts, onto the plate.
  4. Made a mistake? Right-click a plated ingredient to send it back to its bin before you serve.
  5. Serve it. Drag the whole plate over to the customer whose order it matches, and release. Get it right, and you'll earn morale. Get it wrong, and the plate stays in your hands to try again.
  6. Don't run out. Bins and plates run low the more you use them. Hit "restock" when they're empty. Just know restocking has a short cooldown, so plan ahead rather than waiting until you're completely out.
  7. Watch the clock. Customers who wait too long give up, costing you morale.
  8. Beat your best. When the round timer ends, your final morale score is saved. Try to beat it next run.
